Skills Development and Employment ensures that people with disabilities find and keep meaningful jobs by matching them with employers seeking qualified job candidates. In addition, they offer support with assessments, rehabilitation and child and youth programs. 

 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to internal/external info requests; sort incoming mail

  • Prepare and distribute reports, requisitions, and purchase orders

  • Schedule meetings, make travel arrangements, conduct research

  • Answer and direct calls/messages professionally

  • Provide HR admin support (new hires, departures, time tracking)

  • Draft memos, reports, presentations, agreements, etc.

  • Proofread for accuracy and compliance

  • Organize and record minutes for meetings

  • Maintain confidential filing systems

  • Manage files in a case management system; process invoices

  • Support special projects and backup other admin staff

Qualifications:

  • Degree/diploma in a related field

  • Minimum 1 year of admin support experience in a large, fast-paced environment

  • French (verbal and written) is an asset

  • Experience collaborating with all levels of staff

  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality

  • Self-starter, team player, organized, multi-tasker

  • Able to manage multiple projects under pressure

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe

  • Experience with spreadsheets and templates
