The opportunity

The Property Manager is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and performance of the organization’s property portfolio. This role oversees day-to-day operations, ensures properties are well maintained and compliant, and leads leasing activities. The Property Manager will work closely with the Director of Property & Operations to support strategic initiatives, vendor management, and continuous improvement across all sites.

 

Responsibilities

Property Operations & Maintenanc

  • Oversee the daily operations of National Office to ensure they are safe, clean, and fully functional.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.
  • Coordinate and manage external vendors and contractors for repairs, maintenance, and capital projects.
  • Maintain preventative maintenance programs and property service schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and building regulations.

Leasing & Tenant Relation

  •  Manage the leasing portfolio along side the Director of Property & Operations.
  • Manage lease administration, including renewals, amendments, relocations and closures.
  • Monitor market trends to ensure competitive pricing and leasing strategies.

Financial & Administrative Management

  • Provide input to budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for property operations and maintenance.
  • Track expenses, process invoices, and ensure alignment with budget expectations.
  • Maintain accurate property records, reports, and documentation.
  • Manage alongside Leasing with vendor contracts, procurement, and service agreements.

Operational & Strategic Support

  • Provide input to the Director of Property & Operations with portfolio planning, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, cost savings, and property improvements.
  • Coordinate with capital planning and space optimization across the portfolio.

Emergency Response

  • Respond to and manage property-related emergencies, including availability for after-hours calls as required
  • Coordinate appropriate responses with vendors, emergency services, and internal stakeholders.

 

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience in property operations or management.
  • Knowledge of building systems, maintenance processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage vendors, budgets, and multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with property management systems and standard office software.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, and climbing ladders.

Important Details

  • Ability to respond to after-hours emergency calls when required.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for office supplies.
  • In-office five days a week

 

Salary: $66,543-$83,179
