Our Community Support Services (CSS) team provides essential services that enable our clients to thrive. Whether their disability is physical, the result of brain injury, or aging, our more than 2,000 team members assist clients in their homes and across communities, to live as independently as possible.

The opportunity

We are currently looking for a 9-Month Contract Service Delivery Worker (SDW) in the Central Toronto region.

Duties Include:

  • Develop and revise ongoing master schedules for both consumers and staff using the Quatro Scheduling system, in alignment with consumer service and budgeted hours
  • Provide monthly reports on hours of service to the Supervisor
  • Ensure consumer-focused service delivery, referring service complaints to the supervisor for follow-up
  • Provide administrative support for programs (e.g., correspondence, file management, staff meetings, orientation, and training)
  • Process payroll and verify personal expense statements to meet payroll deadlines
  • Carry the after-hours phone based on a rotating on-call schedule to cover evenings and weekends for consumers and staff
  • Assist consumers with activities of daily living in their homes in accordance with individual service plans and March of Dimes Canada policies

Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Ability to take initiative, multi-task, and work under pressure within deadlines
  • Proficiency with computer hardware and software, including MS Office, Navision, and Quatro or equivalent scheduling systems
  • Excellent telephone and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing demands of the job
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and math accuracy skills
  • Excellent writing, proofing, and organizational skills
  • Scheduling experience (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
