
Community Support Leader (CSL) - (3-Month Contract) - South Region Outreach Program (North)

Our Community Support Services (CSS) team provides essential services that enable our clients to thrive. Whether their disability is physical, the result of brain injury, or aging, our more than 2,000 team members assist clients in their homes and across communities, to live as independently as possible.
This Opportunity:
We are currently looking to fill one Full Time 3-Month Contract Community Support Leader (CSL)role in our South Region Outreach Program (North).
Roles and responsibilities

Provide leadership in the efficient and safe delivery of Community Support Services (CSS) to individuals with disabilities.

Lead a team of attendants providing support with non-medical activities of daily living.

Participate in the on-call rotation.

Support consumers with service agreement renewals and connecting with community resources.

Facilitate orientation, goal setting, problem solving, and service planning with consumers.

Deliver on-the-job training and ongoing coaching to attendants.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Display professionalism in interactions with consumers, attendants, and external partners.

Constructively manage change and resolve service-related conflicts.
Qualifications and experience

Current Standard First Aid and CPR Certification.

Minimum two years’ experience in the Human Services field, supporting individuals with physical disabilities.

Demonstrated leadership and staff training experience.

Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively and independently to meet goals.

Knowledge of:
-
Attendant care routines (transferring, lifting, bowel/bladder care, etc.)

Issues relating to physical disabilities and behaviour management
-
Health & Safety legislation
-
General computer use
-

Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Demonstrated reliability, flexibility, and consistent performance.

Availability for varied shifts, including every other weekend.

Completion of Physical Demands Self-Analysis required upon hire.

Contract: Full Time, 3-Month Contract
Starting Wage: $25.18/hour (includes paid travel time and mileage)
