Roles and responsibilities
We are currently looking to hire a Full time Service Delivery Worker (Scheduler) - 6 months contract role in the Durham Region.
Duties include the following:
- Using the electronic Quatro Scheduling system, the SDW will develop and revise ongoing master schedules for both client and staff in accordance with the consumer service and budgeted hours.
- Provide hours of service monthly reports to Supervisor.
- Ensure client-focused service delivery and refer service complaints or compliments to supervisor for follow-up.
- Answer calls and update changes to the schedule in real-time during business hours or while on-call
- Provide administrative support to Programs (i.e. correspondence, file management, co-ordinate staff meetings, orientation and training etc).
- Payroll processing and verifying of personal expense statements to meet set deadlines identified by the payroll schedule.
- Carrying the after-hours phone based on a rotating on-call schedule to cover evenings and weekends for clients and staff.
Qualifications and experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation REQUIRED
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience working with individuals with physical disabilities, older adults, or as an informal caregiver considered an asset but not required
- Good interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills
- Physical Demand Self Analysis required upon hire
- Ability to work flexible and regularly scheduled hours
- Scheduling experience an asset
