Location: Burlington, Milton, and Georgetown
Schedule: Days, Afternoons, and Weekends (multiple shifts, 24-hour attendant care)
Wage Enhancement: $3.00 per hour temporary wage enhancement for hours directly supporting clients

Our Community Support Services (CSS) team provides essential services that enable our clients to thrive. Whether their disability is physical, the result of brain injury, or aging, our more than 2,000 team members assist clients in their homes and across communities, to live as independently as possible.
The opportunity
As a Support Services Attendant, you will provide non-medical assistance with activities of daily living in alignment with individual service plans and March of Dimes Canada policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Assistance with rising/retiring, bowel and bladder routines, lifts, and transfers.
- Meal Preparation: Preparing and feeding meals.
- Light Housekeeping: Assisting with household tasks.
- Range of Motion Exercises: Helping clients maintain mobility.
- Maintain client dignity, privacy, and health and safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience working with individuals with physical disabilities or knowledge of independent living/consumer-based care.
- Skills in transferring, lifting, and bowel/bladder care routines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexible and able to work regularly scheduled hours.
- Physical Demands Self Analysis required upon hire.
