Our Community Support Services (CSS) team provides essential services that enable our clients to thrive. Whether their disability is physical, the result of brain injury, or aging, our more than 2,000 team members assist clients in their homes and across communities, to live as independently as possible.
Opportunity
- Position: PSW/Support Service Attendant/Health Care Aide
- Location: St. Catharines, Niagara Region
- Starting Wage: $19.52/hour + $3.00/hour wage enhancement (for client support hours).
- Requirements: Flexible availability for multiple shifts (days, evenings, weekends, holidays).
Key Responsibilities:

Provide non-medical daily living support to clients in their homes:
- Personal care, dressing/grooming, rising/retiring, incontinence care (upon training).
- Meal preparation and feeding.
- Range of motion exercises.
- Light housekeeping duties.
- Lifts and transfers (upon training).
- Ensure professional conduct that respects dignity, privacy, and health/safety of clients and staff.
- Work flexible shifts across various locations in the Niagara Region.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience with individuals with physical disabilities, older adults, or caregiving (asset, not required).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Physical Demands Self Analysis required upon hire.
- Flexible availability for scheduled hours.
