Our Community Support Services (CSS) team provides essential services that enable our clients to thrive. Whether their disability is physical, the result of brain injury, or aging, our more than 2,000 team members assist clients in their homes and across communities, to live as independently as possible.
This Opportunity:
- We are hiring for 2 part-time positions in our Outreach Attendant Services Program in Sarnia, ON.
- Flexible schedule includes mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with varying weekly hours.
- Starting wage: $18.68 per hour, with paid travel time and mileage.
- Eligible for the $3.00 per hour temporary wage enhancement from the Ontario government for hours directly supporting clients.
Duties:

Assist clients in their homes with non-medical daily living activities according to individual service plans and MODC policies:
- Personal care
- Lifts and transfers
- Rising/retiring support
- Bowel and bladder procedures
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Range of motion exercises
- Light housekeeping duties
- Perform duties professionally, respecting client dignity, privacy, and health and safety standards.
Additional Information:
- MODC provides 24-hour attendant care. Support Service Attendants work various shifts (weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays) across locations.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Standard First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with physical disabilities, older adults, or as a caregiver is an asset (not required)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Physical Demands Self Analysis required upon hire
- Flexible and dependable to work varied hours
- Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation required
Important details
March of Dimes Canada provides 24-hour attendant care to its clients. Support Services Attendants work a variety of shifts (i.e., weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays) that vary between locations.
