Our Community Support Services (CSS) team provides essential services that enable our clients to thrive. Whether their disability is physical, the result of brain injury, or aging, our more than 2,000 team members assist clients in their homes and across communities, to live as independently as possible.
Duties:
- Provide administrative support for the Employment Services (ES) department.
- Perform a variety of administrative duties including responding to internal and external information requests, sorting mail, and preparing departmental reports.
- Schedule meetings, conduct research, and assemble/summarize information for special projects and reports.
- Answer telephone calls, direct messages, and manage front desk/reception.
- Assist with local marketing initiatives and maintain signage/information boards/policy binders.
- Coordinate courier and mail activities.
- Draft memoranda, correspondence, reports, agreements, presentations, and other documents.
- Proofread and check documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Organize meetings and serve as the recording secretary.
- Manage files in a case management system and process invoices.
- Assist and provide backup to other administrative staff as directed.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in a related field is an asset.
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative support experience in a high-volume, large company environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive material.
- Self-motivated, team player with strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and within time constraints.
- Skilled in verbal and written correspondence at an executive level.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the ability to learn a case management system.
- Sensitivity to issues/barriers experienced by persons with disabilities.
Salary Range:
- $35,000.00
