Make an impact with your expertise as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist!
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time permanent Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team at March of Dimes Canada. As the successful candidate, you will play an impactful role in leading full-cycle recruitment for key roles in your assigned client group.

Responsibilities:
• Working within a specific client group, you will identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization to ensure MODC recruits and selects the highest quality candidates across the organization.
• Contribute to the overall people hiring strategy that provide equal opportunities to all candidates, internal and external, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures and legislative guidelines.
• Lead and build recruitment plans for specific client groups to ensure that accountabilities are established
• Analyze recruiting metrics and generate reports to guide decision-making and improve performance.
• Assist in the design, development and execution of innovative outreach programs including social media strategies to help build pipelines of qualified and diverse candidates.
• Effectively engage with top external passive talent to present MODC’s unique employer value proposition, acting as an ambassador for MODC’s employer brand.
• Act as a key resource in identifying and establishing relationships with schools, alumni groups, employment equity related service providers and other organizations to find and attract applicants of diverse backgrounds.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to our job posting process to ensure our jobs contain inclusive language and support hiring from diverse and under-represented groups.
• Lead virtual recruitment events, sourcing initiatives and talent attraction campaignsSource passive candidates using a variety of tools and platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, networks, events, etc.)
• Coach/mentor/train junior members of the Talent team
• Participate in recruitment events and represent MODC within the community and nationally.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related program.
• CHRL designation (or working towards) an asset.
• 6 years or more of high-volume recruiting experience with demonstrated ability to recruit in multiple geographies along with varying levels of positions, including at the leadership level.
• Experience recruiting candidates from the health care, congregate care setting or non-profit field preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a fast-paced work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment of a variety of roles.
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Sound knowledge of multi-provincial laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to human resources, hiring and recruitment.
• Proficiency in applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

- Compensation includes paid vacation, full medical/dental benefits, 3 paid wellness days and pension after 1 year of employment
